PASTORAL UPDATE | JUNE 10, 2020

In light of Premier Ford’s announcement regarding the re-opening of places of worship, we want to give you a quick update on how we are processing this new information. Presently, we are pursuing greater clarity with regards to the following key items:

  • Clarity on government regulations for phase 2 of re-opening
  • Consent from Kingston Christian School for use of their facility
  • Feedback from the Impact Church family through our church survey

Once we process through this key information, then we will be able to present to you a clearly defined strategy for re-entry to in-person gatherings as a church. In light of this process, we will remain online for our “church at home” experience for this Sunday (June 14) and next Sunday (June 21). We will inform you of our next steps after Father's Day weekend.

We also want to assure you that we will do everything we can to make sure your safety, health and well-being remains a top priority for us as we prepare to open our doors. We are so excited to be together again soon!

Many blessings!

PASTORAL UPDATE | MARCH 31, 2020

COVID-19 UPDATE | MARCH 20, 2020

PASTORAL UPDATE | MARCH 19, 2020

We just wanted to let our church family know that starting this Sunday, Impact Church is going ONLINE for our Sunday morning experience! You will be receiving an email every Sunday at 9:30am with the following links:

  • A worship playlist from YouTube with songs we all know and love
  • A message scheduled to live stream on YouTube at 10am from one of our Pastors (this Sunday is Week 2 of our "Forward Living" series)
  • A link to resources for our Impact Kids

Sandra is sharing a message this Sunday that will shed tremendous light on the process that God has each of you on as you journey toward being a "Forward Living" follower of Christ! While an online experience can never replace the warmth and love we feel when we are together in community, it does provide us with a great way to stay connected and continue to grow in our walk with God!

As we shared in our last update, if you are in need of prayer or would like to speak with one of the Pastors please do not hesitate to contact us via email to set up a time to chat.

I have had the privilege of being in touch with our Mayor, Bryan Paterson, this week and he reminded me of a great passage of Scripture that is so appropriate in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 states so clearly that God is calling us to trust in Him, lean not on our own understanding, and put Him first during this unsettling time. This word is needed for each of us as we all process through life in a very different way. Let's trust God, pray for each other and do our part to walk in faith and wisdom!

Sandra and I miss being with you so much, however, we are looking forward to being with each of you for our online service experience this Sunday morning! Be blessed and stay safe!

We want to protect and care for the most vulnerable in our society. Let’s continue to stand in faith and walk in wisdom at the same time.
