PRAYER MINISTRY | ACTIVATE SIGN UP

At Impact Church, we are committed to seeing more lives touched. As a church, our tithe goes entirely to missions, both locally and internationally. This is our way of giving back to God from what He has entrusted to us. Through prayer support, finances, and  encouragement, we actively support members of our own local church who have gone on mission’s trips, support missionaries on the mission field, and support organizations that are changing their own world one life at a time!

Below are the ministries that we partner with:

Haiti AriseHaiti ARISE is an amazing Christ-centered missional organization that exists to raise up godly leaders and strengthen the country of Haiti through meeting practical needs and spreading the gospel. Everything Haiti ARISE does is rooted in the local church and the hope of Jesus, while meeting very tangible needs and creating programs for long term change. Haiti ARISE consists of a technical school, orphanage, elementary and high school, food outreach, church planting, disaster relief, and more.

We have financially supported Haiti ARISE on a monthly basis since 2010. In February 2014, Impact Church sent their first short term missions team to Haiti ARISE along with 16 suitcases full of supplies. The team was able to help the Haitian people while also having a life transforming experience themselves! We sent teams to Haiti in 2015 and 2016 as well. Because of political and social unrest, we have been unable to send any teams since but we are looking forward to the day we can return!

MFI missions bannerGod is moving powerfully in East Africa! Impact is connected with MFI East Africa and in 2023 we were able to partner with them by helping support local pastors and leaders to come to their MFI East Africa Conference held in Uganda. In 2019 Life Church Kampala, Uganda, in partnership with Viva Church from Oshawa sent out Pastors Henry & Diana Ssenyonga to Nakyere Village, Uganda, to start Life Church Namutumba. The church has been growing rapidly and about 250 people have given their lives to Christ and joined the church since. Prs Henry & Diana have expressed a need for help to disciple all these new believers and raise up pastors and leaders in their growing church.

As of January of 2024, Impact Church has the privilege to support an amazing church planting couple, Dennis and Joan Mwesigwa (and their children Shammah, Shaddai and Shalom). Impact is paying their monthly salary so that they could move to Nakyere Village to help and support what God is doing at LifeChurch Namutumba and dedicate their time to the call of God on their lives. They are also being trained as church planters with the goal of starting another church in a nearby village in about 2 years or so. Please be praying for Prs Dennis & Joan as well as LifeChurch Namutumba! We are so blessed to be able to be part of what God is doing in Uganda and East Africa!

Watoto Missions BannerWatoto brings hope and healing to vulnerable women and children in Uganda and South Sudan. Through Watoto's villages, they provide homes, families, and holistic care to over 3,000 children who receive everything they need to grow up healthy and whole - food, clothing, medical care, education and most of all the love of a mother. A Watoto village is a safe place where orphaned and vulnerable children can truly experience the love of a family.

We have the joy and privilege of hosting the Watoto Children's Choir when they come to Kingston. This is an amazing experience where families in our church get to host the children in their homes, and our church family along with the Kingston community are blessed with an incredible concert experience.
