CAMERON & SANDRA JEFFS

Cameron’s spiritual journey began in Kingston in 1981 when his mom had a life changing encounter with Christ. Cameron is a fun-loving guy who loves God, loves people and wants to make a difference in this world. His biggest joy is to see ordinary people living extraordinary lives for God.

Sandra was born on the mission field in Tanzania to Finnish missionaries, raised in Sweden, married a Canadian and has been on missions’ trips to over 35 countries. She is passionate about worship, reaching people with God’s love, teaching the Bible, being a mom, and releasing others to fulfill their God-given dreams.

Sandra and Cameron met in the spring of 2000 at Oshawa Community Church [now called Viva Church]. They married in 2001 and have five wonderful children: Josiah, Hannah, Caleb, Grace and Abigail.

SCOTT & CARLING MORTIMER

Carling was blessed to be born into a Christian family. During some difficult situations in her teen years, Carling solidified her faith and committed her life to following God regardless of the circumstances around her. Over the years, Carling has grown in her passion for prayer, worship, teaching, and helping others discover and grow in their spiritual identity, gifts, and purpose.

Scott also grew up in the church, but never really allowed himself to have anything more than a religious experience that lacked a heart experience of who God really is. That all changed in college where he trained to be a paramedic. One night, God audibly spoke to Scott calling him to turn from his past and walk in a true relationship with Jesus. This started an insatiable desire for more of God’s Word, and a quest highlighted by the baptism of the Holy Spirit leading to a desperate pursuit to see all of heaven evident here on the earth.

Scott and Carling met while both in post-secondary school and married in 2011. Together they have spent time on the mission field in Haiti and it was here they felt the calling of God towards a life of ministry. Together, they have two beautiful girls: Avery and Emma. Scott and Carling have a passion for family and seeing the church reach the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
